Well the dispensation of 'Law"was the old testiment and the people in that era only had the law and thats why they slaudered a lamb to make a sacrifice for sins...When Jesus came and walked on earth they were still living under the law,but when Jesus died on the cross he became our sacrifice and the law was fullfilled,so now since we have Jesuses blood that was used as the eternal sacrifice we no longer have to make blood sacrifices...and when Jesus died we went under the grace dispensation...so all we have to do is go though h is already shed blood.....we are in the grace dispensation now so all we have to do is repent and our sins are now covered by the blood of Jesus...For we are not saved by works any longer but by grace, should any man boast///.....hope this helps

If you are saved then the law has nothing on you, you are clean. That means that as far as God is concerned you have not broken His law. But on the other hand, if you have any unforgiven sins, then you most certainly are under the law. and you will suffer the penalties for you lawlessness. This concept is seen through out the Scriptures, and any one who knows what he is about can tell you that. The only difference between the covenants of the Old and New Testaments is that the blood sacrifices and other ceremonies of the Mosaic laws are not longer needed, because Jesus fulfilled them. The law of God is still in effect as it is a testament of the character of God.
