i've known her almost 3 years. i really like her but my friends don't what should i do?

Let's answer your two questions separately. First off, if you don't say anything to her, how's she gonna know you like her? Yes, by actually speaking to her, you run the risk of rejection, but it's not as scary as you've built it up to be. Talk to her. Get to know her. Let her know that you're interested in her. Ask her out to a movie, or McDonald's. Maybe an ice cream cone. Whatever. Keep it simple. Just remember to look her in the eye when you talk to her and always, always, ALWAYS be honest with her. Girls don't like liars and if they feel like they're being conned or set up, they are outta there.
Secondly, about your friends "liking her". Who really gives a rat's fuzzy behind what your friends like or who they like? It's YOUR life. Don't be foolish enough to give in to peer pressure. Your friends aren't gonna date this girl. You are.
