If a man is totally into you would he eventually ask the girl out or let her know hes crazy about her? Or are some men just so nervous that they won't take the step? How can I work the conversation round so he does ask? I won't ask him, I'm an old fashioned girl but I've tried to let him know by flirting and being really nice but he ain't asking!!!!

Why can't you ask him?
Maybe, like some of us guys, he's tired of standing up, going out and then having the lady cancel her plans at the last minute because "an emergency came up".
Your turn to stick your neck out and see if he's actually interested in you by saying, "Go out for coffee? Yeah, I'd like that".

if he is shy you'll probably have to make the move im afraid..
my situation awhile ago ended in tatters because i was too shy.. her also.. i dont think the girl had the guts to make the move either so it had been 6 months of interest or so and then when i get the courage to finally make a move it was too late.
dont do the same as me..
you need to mention in conversation something along the lines of " i want to go shopping" or "i want to go for a drink" or something.. say no one will go with you or say you cant go on your own or something.. or that you could really do with someone to help you shopping for clothes (guys opinion).
i dont know if this is a modern uk way of hinting (correct me girls lol) but i know some girls randomly show the guy their phone (pics etc on it) or their msn (if a pc is available nearby) just so the guy goes "oh yea can i have ur no./msn"
seriously if he doesnt ask after all this time you need to do something, ive kinda rejected before, it happens but im positive he'll say yes, go for it :) gd luck

I've been in the same kind of situation and I know how frustrating it is. There could be a million reasons why he doesn't want to take it further. Are you sure he is not already in a relationship? Or maybe he just wants to keep you as a friend. The kind of guy who is cautious like this will be the type who will reel away from any kind of forward action on your part. I know it's hard but please keep a bit of distance and a bit of dignity. Guys can be very cruel to a girl if she appears to humiliate herself by throwing herself at him- I know it's unfair but it is the way of the world. Maybe you should question whether you want to be with such a cautious guy- maybe you might be better suited to someone more adventurous and spontaneous- this one could be quite boring in the long run.

A lot of men are very shy around women and they will not ask you out ever because they are just so nervous and afraid of being rejected.
So, stop being old fashioned, step up and ask this guy out on a date!
Yes, you might get turned down, and you'll feel bad (now you know what us guys go through! and you'll know why a lot of us are afraid to approach women!) - but if he's shy, that may be the only way you'll ever get to date him!

Sorry dear but it seems that he is not into you..
When a guy likes a girl, even he is shy, he will definetely make a move.. it doesn't matter whether he is shy or not.. Generally guys are not shy when they see a girl they like..
If he doesn't ask, he doesn't like you..
You can try to have some conversation as to hint him but don't try too hard or you will appear as less desirable to him..
If you play it cool, who knows he will change his mind..
The key is just don't be agressive, it will drive men away..
Be sweet and aloof, that's all you need..

I am having the same problem as you right now love, and i wont ask him, for me its because i am well nervous, im hoping that ill be able to do something about it, maybe i will sit and ponder, for a little while longer...

This is a piece of information told to me by both my Mum & my Aunt who are older & wiser than me! If a man is interested in a woman he will ask her out. I have known very shy guys before and even fancied one & i became convinced that thhis one guy fancied me but was just too shy to ask me out. But he asked out someone else. So it doesn't matter how shy a guy is, if he fancies a girl he tends to let her know. But if you don't ask him out by the sounds of it you will never know.

Guys don't like being rejected. I can't blame them. Maybe you should just ask him if he would like to go out for a cup of joe?

Some of us like to make sure we arent getting shot down...I was previously like this and it cost me big time on numerous occasions...now I dont care if a woman shoots me down but I cant find a decent one anyway...
But sometimes we are just nice and dont want you like that...only one way to find out...
