You can put 2GB worth of pictures and video on it.

Just joking it really depends on what you are shooting.

The amount of video will vary depending on the compression the camera uses ballpark:
50 minutes of film at 640x480 resolution
100 minutes of film at 320x240 resolution

Entirely depends on the camera, how much jpeg compression is used and therefore the resulting file size. I would guess at roughly 3.8 MB per image in which case your card should hold roughly 500 images. When you insert the card it will quite likely tell you that there is room for around 350, but as you fill the card up you may well find the end total closer to 500.

Remember this is a guess based on my experience with 6, 9 and 10 megapixel cameras.

In the 500 picture ballpark. You can erase any photos that you don't like too clean the memory. If you need more photos, buy a couple cards. It's never good to put all your eggs in one basket. I've gone on many trips and tend to lose cards occasionally.

Actually, it depends on the type of photos. Kodak cameras don't use the exact same amount of space per photo. The more information, or "busier", your photo is, the larger the file. Also, video eats up the memory bad.

My Canon EOS 30D (Digital SLR) is 8.2 mega-pixels, and at max quality on a 4gb Hitachi CF Card I can take over 1000 shots. So with your point-and-shoot Kodak EasyShare at 8MP, I’d agree that you’re looking at AT LEAST 500 shots.

Depends on the number of pixels in the photo and what file format the photo is stored at.
