Being a girl in all, most girls will think it is a date and if you are asking me, it is a date. I think her birthday because Christmas is a time for her to spend time with her family and you don't want to interfere with that time. Her birthday is the best because it is a day all about her and the tickets will make her really happy. Happy Holidays!! :)

If you go with her, she's going to think it's a date, no matter what you say - and if you just give her the tickets, you won't feel very good about it - she might go with somebody else (a girlfriend or even another guy - maybe a guy she actually wants to date).

Trust me on this one - don't spend $ 100-150 dollars on two tickets to a concert if the girl doesn't want to date you! I've done that before and I've ALWAYS regretted it!

If YOU want to go see the Goo Goo Dolls, by all means buy the tickets and go with one of your friends, or with a girl who actually wants to go out on a date with you.

Do NOT invite this girl unless she wants to date you and do NOT just give her the tickets so she can take some other guy instead of you!

Either way you offer it to her, it will always seem like a date because she is going with you. Unless, you give her the tickets and she is free to go with whoever she wants and never have to deal with you. Then give the tickets to her on her birthday.

But if you are expecting her to go with you to the performance, then it's a date.

So why would you give the tickets to someone you like, but don't like you back in the same manner. Don't sit there and lie to yourself. You will only cause your heart to ache. Give it to someone you really don't feel anything for, and you won't feel any strings attached.

Dont give her the tickets if she does not want to go as a date.
If she doesn't pay 1/2 for her ticket she is using you for the ticket. Sorry. Good luck.

I don't think it would be considered as a date but i would give it to her at Christmas so she wouldn't think that you where trying to take her out on her birthday. Good Luck!

Depends. How many strings are on the ticket?

How put out would you be if a guy friend of hers buys the seat on the other side of her?

So don't think of it as a date. Tell her you could go as friends. Thats the way most relationships start out.
