With the recent explosion in the popularity of online poker, there has also been an explosion of texas hold'em books. I've read many of these newer books; for the most part, the classics -- those published well before the online poker explosion -- remain the best.
I've listed my top 5 texas holdem books here (scroll to the bottom of the page): http://www.theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/rules/texasholdem.php
They are: Super System I and II, Hold'em Poker for Advanced Players, Power Hold'em Strategy, and Harrington on Hold'em.
Best of luck!
Robert
