my boyfriend is. I got him a 1:6 scale Jimmy Johnson remote control car. It is so big I really don't understand the scale thing. Do you think he will like it even if he is 53 years old? Don't all men still have a little boy in them?

Yes I think he will like it even if he is 53. All men have a little boy in them still, Ive got an uncle who was 24 (this was a little while back) and he was playing legos with us. I know theres an age difference there, but if he's a Jimmie Johnson fan and a NASCAR fan like you said, then he will more than likely like it.
I understand how the scale thing works but I cant think of how to explain it. Its like if you blow it up 6 times to the 6th power that is, it will be the size of a real car.

The scale works like this: the first number is equal to the small car and the second is the real car. 1:6 means for every one inch on the rc car = 6 inches on the real car. With scale cars the lower the second number the lager the replica. My boyfriend has the same car and loves it! It will actually lay rubber down on the parking lot in front of our town home. Even at 53 guys will always love their toys!

he sould like it. I am a Jimmie Johnson fan to and I want to know where you got it at? The scales are like a 1:6 scale is a sixth the size of the real thing, a 1:12 scale is a 12th the scale of the real thing and so on and so on.

the scale means that for every 6 (in or feet) that the model is 1 (in or foot). iF he is a big nascar fan he wont care.
