I used to weigh 300lbs 5'10". I started by getting a personal trainer at the gym for 3 months and learned how to exercise properly. Then I learned how to eat and what to eat. I recommend the book "The Abs Diet: Eat Right Everytime Guide". This book changed my life. Basically I ate 5-6 small (healthy) meals per day and I ate more food than I did when I was fat. I workout 3-4x per week and cheat 1 day/week, eating anything I want. :) I now weigh 190lbs, my self-esteem is great and I look great too! I am one of the laziest ppl ever. If I can do this, anyone can! Seriously! Good Luck!

Diet and exercise. Easy things to do:
Don't drink soft drinks. Diet soft drinks AREN'T any better! Drink water instead. Besides, it's free!
Don't look for the closest parking space, instead park in the back so you'll have to walk further.
Don't take the elevator, take the stairs
Don't eat at night, not even a snack
Snack on fruits and vegetables, not chips and dip
Just lead an all around healthy lifestyle and the rest should take its course. No matter what our weight, these are all things we should be doing everyday to keep ourselves healthy. It's not just about weight, its about keeping your heart healthy too!

Is this question really for you?
Anyway..She/you could lose a few pounds, maybe get down to 125 or 126.
Do this by excersizing a lot more, and eating a light lunch . And a light breakfast too.
Then, you can eat more at dinner time without gaining weight.
People never walk anymore. If you walk for only half a mile or a mile a day, you will lose weight slowlly but surely.

Well, she should eat right and get a proper routine of excercise. And remind her how dangerous it is to be anorexic. My friend was put in the hospital from being anorexic and bulemic( in the beginning) and she is still there. she has been in the hospital for a year. she almost died last summer. Besides, there is no need to lose weight. I think that is a perfectly fine weight and she should think more about her personallity and not her weight. If her doctor says she is over weight(which they shouldn't) then she can consider losing a few lbs to get to the proper weight.

She should see a doctor for tips on how to lose weight or if she even does need to lose weight. Also, remember to support her and if you notice her not eating main meals or acting withdrawn, get her some help. Anorexia is horrible and needs to be attended to before it even becomes worse.
Maybe join an activity with her (school sport, gym) so that she knows you support her.

This needs to be discussed with your friend's parents.
If she already has a poor body image and is considering anorexia, she needs people to be attuned to this BEFORE she begins any sort of weight loss program.
You're not the right person to help her, other than to get her parents involved. Hopefully they involve a doctor.
I lost an insane amount of weight in a 3 month period and my clothes were hanging off me. I looked great but kept thinking "more is better."
Don't go there. Don't let her go there. GET HELP.

Gurls~!~ they always think they are too fat!!!
Well if she wants to look GROSS and look like shes from Africa then tell her GO RIGHT AHEAD u'll be skinny from starving but u will look GROSS! and horrible!
tELL HER THAT! I KNOW I WOULD TELL MY FRIENDS THAT!
and u can also tell her but if u want to eat healthy and look thin and healthy then eat alot of porage because it stays in the stomach longer and keeps u from snacking, thats a very good food to eat when ur dieting, and also peanut butter. that too stays in ur stomach longer which means they would keep u full longer!!
and they are both good for you! well in this case for her..

Anorexia isn't something you consider doing to lose wieght it's something you have. I don't think that that is to fat. If "your friend" is worried about it though then she can go on diet. Diet is only bad if you are way under wieght.
