Good question! They are both good cars. I did research on those two, plus the bmw 3 series and the Acura TL. The TL had the best residual value after 5 years, lowest maintenance and most room I would rec. the TL first, then the Infiniti. More space and power than the c class.

go for the infiniti g35, it has more room all around. Plus the inside looks a little classier. C class to small.

The G35:
It is much less likely to require a major repair after the warranty
much more reliable (see above)
More car for the money - better value
faster
roomier
handles better
consistently tests better
better manual transmission
