Okay, I'm 15 and I'm to find something that will get rid of my acne. I've tried Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Aveeno, and I'm currently using Proactiv, but nothing seems to keep working on the acne. They've all—including Proactiv—worked at first, but then eventually seemed to stop working and I began to get more acne breakouts. I'm tired of continually switching products and wasting money on things that won't work. I drink a lots of water—actually, it's usually the only thing I drink during the day—I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for somewhat a year, and I eat fairly healthy. I hardly eat any fast food at all. Is there anything that really works and keeps working? Also, I heard that if you stop using Proactiv, your skin will breakout in acne. Is this true? By the way, my skin is sensitive. Serious answers, please.

i know that you have used neutrogena but i use this product by them and it is blackhead eliminating astringent. blackheads are the start to a pimple, so if you rub it on your face in the morning and at night it should work.

My daughter is 17 years old and tried everything including a dermatologist. nothing helped! A few months ago my brother told me that a friend of his had acne really bad and she used lye soap and it cleared up in just a couple of weeks. My daughter tried it and we can't hardly believe the results! It works! You just rub the bar of soap on dampened skin every night and wash off in the morning . You can find lye soap at health/natural food shops for 3 to 4 dollars, and the bar lasts quite a while. I've got to say I really didn't believe it would work, but since it was just a few dollars I went ahead and got it. I am so glad I did!

I have suffered fwith acne for a long time and tried everything you spoke of. You need to use a product with AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) or (Beta Hydroxy Acid ) BTA. Nuetrogena makes several products with this in it, but the best product line I have found is called Beyond belief, which I know they sell at most Sally Beauty Supply Stores or you could try Aqua Glycolic, which they also sell at Eckerd Drug Stores. Just realize that you will need to use an SPF when outside, as these products make you more sensitive to the sun. Good Luck!!

I know your pain!!! I was just looking in the mirror shaking my head staring at the wonderful red dots on my face...I've tried every product out there and nothing seems to work. Maybe you should try a clay mask or something once a week. I wish I could help! Whoever finds a cure for acne will be my hero!

I recently gave a 5 day sample of Arbonne's "Intelligence" skin care system to a friend of mine to try. She can't use Merle norman, mary kay, clinique or anything cuz her skin is so sensitive.
My products worked and she was surprised! her skin felt great too!
My daughter switched from proactive to "intelligence" her skin cleared up, and wasn't dry anymore. she loves it, so I got her the whole set for Christmas, just wrapped it!
Arbonne's products are botanically based, swiss formulated. They are all pure, safe, and beneficial to your skin.
I mean from the skin care lines to the eyeliner...every product has beneficial ingredients.
I have a sample pack I could mail to you to try, but you'd need to use it exclusively for about 5 days. I mean you can wear makeup over it, just don't mix with any other skin care products.
The mask part of it is a thermal fusion mask, after you put it on you get your fingers damp and massage your face. This activates the thermal ingredients. When you wash it off your face is kinda red....it's supposed to be. It's like micro dermabrasion but without hurting your skin! The redness is the blood supply being pulled to the surface of your skin. It goes away in about 2 hours and your skin is really clean and smooth.
I recommend people put a pin prick in the foil packets at the top so they can squeeze out just a little bit of product per day. They are highly concentrated, and all can be diluted with water which I recommend.
E-mail me if you want a sample...I'd be glad to let you try it out!
