Would you assume that if you were looking in your son's room and he was sleeping with his g/f in his arms, that they had sex?? Would you trust them to be alone together??
Would you assume that if they were ok with this than they already had sex??
I know they are close b/c they have been together for 3 years.
If I ask will he actually tell me the truth?? I was just walking and saw them, not like I invaded his privacy.
They weren't exactly wearing the most clothes ever, but at least some. Should I be ok with this??
Should I tell him what I think or wait for him to come to me??
They are both 16. He's almost 17.
She's on the pill but only b/c her gymnastics coach makes the whole team do it so they can train w/o them pmsing

They most likely are having sex. If you really want to know, you should just casually ask them. Realize that this is a reality and as long as they are being safe about it, it's really not the worst thing they could be doing. If they are both good kids, and really care for one another, they's been together for 3 years, she's on the pill...they were probably both virgins before each other, so really, this is probably the safest sex he will ever have.

Just make sure that you make both of them comfortable talking to you. If his girlfriend likes to talk to you and likes you, so will he. Believe me! You gotta do what it takes.

The sign it is too late is when you have a grandchild on the way between two kids who have no means of taking care of it. I really think you should have a talk with him, and let him know that you saw him sleeping with his girlfriend. It doesn't matter that she is on the pill. They are both "minors" not only could he get into trouble for even being in an intimate situation with a 16 year old girl. But you could get into trouble for allowing it to take place and condone it in your home.

Your Little boy is growing up, it's not a bad thing, and all you need to do is talk to him in a relaxed manner and tell him to use a condom because the pill does not prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
It's not the end of the world at least you can keep an eye on them.
Good Luck

Just tell him what's on your mind. I can tell that you just love him and are concerned, well done. Tell him what you feel and that you are concerned, don't make assumptions, instead assume not to know. all the best & never too late...
