i would suggest a coffee house...if your into that sort of thing...its a wonderful atmosphere to get to know people.

depends on what you like to do. the gym is a good place to meet girls. so is the mall. if you go to the arcade, I definitely recommend DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) or any competitive game. DDR is an excellent way to meet people (I've met several guys through my interest in DDR). a club or party would be a good way to meet girls if you like loud music and lots of dancing, and if you're old enough to get in the club without a fake ID. also consider the library, skating rink, a museum, the YMCA (though that would go with gym), etc. there's so many places to meet people.
