I went to several different stores in my area and the abayas/jilbabs didnt fit me as I am plus sized. I'm leaving for the Middle East soon and I do not want to stick out or look like a tourist as I know its dangerous.

There are wonderful online stores that have good-quality hijab, niqabs and whatever else you're looking for, too many for me to list here, ya just gotta take a peek and enjoy. May I recommend the links from the websites geared towards Muslimahs? Some of the best I found linked from the ICNA and ISNA sites when I was studying Islam. You can also go to a local Masjid or Islamic Community Center, if there's one in your locale... the women are EXTREMELY friendly and kind and even the guys too, in their respectful way! Don't be shy.
