we are saved by Grace through faith. So with a bit of faith, we get the GRACE of salvation.

Grace is best defined as an unmerited gift.

Grace is also used when describing forgiveness.....but some get carried away, continuing to sin ALOT thinking Grace will cover them.....dangerous

Blessings,
David

Grace means undeserved favour; when someone gives you something that you do not deserve. The bible says that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
We all deserve to pay for our sins by being condemned to Hell. But because God wants us to go to heaven to be with him, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sins. He died a cruel death in a cross so that we could be excused from our sins. He paid the penalty in full. And if we believe in him and accept the free gift of salvation for what he did, we will not be punished for our sins. We will spend eternity in heaven.
John 3:16 God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Absolutely it is the key. God's grace, through faith, is what gives us the ability to accept the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. God does the work in our hearts, we can't do it for ourselves because before we become Christians we are spiritually dead - and dead people can't do anything.
