I used to teach 6th grade and I was good at my job. When I taught a topic, I taught all sides so the children could decide for themselves. So when I taught evolution, I also taught creationism, and the theory that I personally believe, which is that life started when an alien named Jar Jar Binks, masterbated into the primordial soup, therefore starting life. I was soon after fired. Do I have any legal recourse?

it would all depend on what was in your contract for your school district..some do not allow certain things to be discussed in the class room and those policies are set by the board of education in your area

you cannot make soup without a pot. Therefore, if children in the 6th grade have not had sex ed, you cannot really teach them about a theory where masturbation is concerned. They might ask you to edit your wording and word choice, and it can be done as long as you don't impose the children to learn it, and you do not test them on anything that is relative and lacks factual evidence.
