For hair that has gone yellow you need something with a blue tone in it.You don't say how much of your hair is yellow but if you put a colour in it you will need to get some blue shampoo, this can be bought in the local chemist, but won't be as good as ones you can buy in a salon.
If the yellow is quite bad get a blonde colour with ash in it.IE light ash blonde, you need to apply this to the yellow parts ONLY.Be careful doing this as if any of your hair is white blonde it will take on a blue-ish hue.
The ketchup works great for blonde hair that has been exposed to chlorine if you have been at the swimming pool and your hair turns green, if you put ketchup in for abut 15 - 20 mins you will neutralise the green tones.

Nope. ketchup is mainly vinegar which will make your hair nice and shiny but won't change the colour. The reason it's gone yellow is you must have some red tones somewhere in your natural colour. You need to use an ash toned blonde to counteract these next time.

no ketchup will make it worse, it fixes green tones after swimming, but!!!! there are special shampoos out there that will help eliminate the yellow, or just go ask the beauty supply for a toner, its easy and they can show you exactly how to use it.
or better yet, go see a stylist!

you need to have a violet toner through your hair as this will counteract the yellow tones. if you go to the hairdressers and explain this, they will be able 2 help.

why dont you try the ketchup and then if it works you can sell your story to the helpful tips secction in a womans weekly mag
