I went to the doctors recently, and they said I won't grow much taller. I got my period about two years ago, and I'm twelve years old. I'm 5'2 1/2", and my mom is 5'2". They told me about two years ago that I should grow up to be 5'6", but I had a different doctor then. I'm wondering, what do they mean by 'not much' taller? Does that mean maybe another half inch until I'm done growing, or does that just mean I'm just not going to grow another foot?

Well I think it's your body that will choose if you will grow any more, just b/c the doctor said you might don't give up hope. And he probably does mean maybe another inch. You can always try taking daily vitamins. Just a suggestion.

Go type in your parents height, your age etc. and it will give you an estimate. Though it cannot Really be predicted how tall you will get.
