I had a featured question just a couple of weeks ago. And it was from R&S.

It seems that most of the featured questions are of the non-controversial type. Religion is a sensitive subject with many people....so the chances of one being featured are relatively small.

That is most likely the case. The featured questions are always politically correct if you notice.

there are always three subjects one can discuss which will lead into an argument -- Religion -- sex -- politics. this is why these questions have a slight chance of getting featured in my personal opinion.

Too many of them are antagonistic and inappropriate for those who are not seeking them out. The vitriol is too intense in some of the questions.

We don't get any celebrity questions either - like from Oprah or Leonardo DiCapprio.

Too many people would get their panties in a bunch if they featured one religion and not another. ITs impossible to please everyone so you should just please no one. That't the corporate philosophy. It seems to work.
