I know that he is. Not just by the power he exults, but how he has touched millions, and try to make us, as a people, love one another and try to teach us how have hope in desperate times. He lets us know that he is with us every time we mess up and all we have to do is repent and we are forgiven. Not a lot of people know this but god KNOWS that we will not be perfect and that we are going to do bad, but he still loves us. He KNOWS that we will lose faith from time to time but he still loves us. He KNOWS that we are going to sin so he gave his son to pay for our sin and he still loves us. God is and awesome god!

God is awesome ; to the person who made the vengeful comment - only vengeful if you cause his wrath upon you by your words, thoughts and actions; follow his law (not really hard) and heaven is yours; he has always been there whenever I needed him; got me out of tough spots when I could not see the end of the tunnel; saved me from drowning at the age of 2 when I walked away from a family gathering 3 houses away; he has always been there to guide, comfort and aid me as he is to all people; you just have to open your heart and let him guide your path and footsteps for a better life. If "our God" is as awesome as everyone thinks then why are the things happening in our world happening? Death, sickness, poverty, tyranny, genocide, and countless other miseries stalk the land. If this is the work of divine beings then they are to be rebelled against and overthrown, not given praise, obedience, and reverence.

Our God is amazing. I have seen Him do so many amazing things this year. He is holy, rightouss, loving, saving, unchanging, and so much more. To spend eternity with Him, will be off the hook! I love God, He is everything to me!!!!! Thank you Jesus how you saved me, Father how you drew me near to Him, Holy Spirit how you convicted me He was the only answer. Yaaaaaaaaa Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing important is if you think your God is an awesome God.
Personally... I think the God of Christianity is jealous, hateful, spiteful, disrespectful, has no compassion or understanding, and more than a little egotistical.
