Yes. He told me fairly soon. The truth is: he got scared of how close we were getting that's all... He'd rather go off with someone new and make sure closeness gets no chance. Men and commitment, eh?

I was dating a girl who started seeing other woman. I found out later it wasn't anything I done. He really have a problem. Most men who really can't be honest and let u know that he not interest any more have very low self-esteem. And don't really matter how long he/she could have just meet them and they decided to go ahead and start seeing the other person. People like that are only looking for a good time not a mate or marriage.

They never really know if it's the right thing even if they seem absolutely sure of themselves.
My ex left me for a girl he was having feelings for at work. He told me before acting but there was surely some heavy flirting going on before. All i know is that it happened very very fast....so fast that he didn't even realise what complete mess he was getting himself into (he regrets now even though he was sure of what he was doing before)....some men (not all!!) don't always think with their head...that is to say that they don't always do have intelligent reasons to leave.
I'm really sorry you're going through this but don't worry, it'll definitely make you stronger believe me!

I had an idea that my ex was cheating although i didn't have the proof and he didn't have much of a reason to as i gave him the easy way out quite a few times... Anyway, he got more and more distant so i knew it was true but he denied it until i saw him with a girl that couldn't have been explained as a family member (he was black she was white). I was gutted as he had no need to do that, he should have just said, i would have let him go...

my ex did.
he got her pregnant on a one night stand and felt he felt he had to stay with her.
then two months after the baby was born he dumped her for some other woman.
she found out and dumped him.
now 4 years later he wants me back.
i think not.....

its hard to figure out why people do things...
quit trying, you should realize that he has the problem not you...
