we need to replace the struts on our newly aquired 1973 super beetle. we are having a problem with the steering wheel. if anyone can help please do. please email me @ mxmom4215@yahoo.com

you need to explain your problem.
1) Do you need to buy the struts?
2) Is the wheel shaking when you drive it (not a strut problem)
3) Do you need to install the struts.
you need to be a little more specific please... I just replaced the Struts in my 71 Beetle and prob. had the same problems you do so expand your question or drop me a line.

I dont know where you are located,I am in Southern California. There is a parts chain called BAP/GEON. I would trust no one else when it comes to buying quality foreign cars parts. Also those Stupid Beetles had a problem with the front ends shaking and just in general not meeting the standards a regular beetle had. There was an after market fix for this. It was a bar that bolted from strut tower to strut tower in the trunk area. Only downfall, it robed you of preciouse space in the trunk.

Go to http://www.busdepot.com they have them in stock as just checked their website. They sell bus and bug parts and have the super beetle stuff as well. I have also dealt with these folks before and like their service.
