OK so my ex- boyfriend is 25 and I'm 21. We dated for a month then HE ended it saying that he's "busy". Our relationship was very innocent, it never went past kissing cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. Neways, we both go to the same university, I'm an undergrad while he's a grad student. I was crossing the street and he called my name and we talked for a bit. At the end of the conversation he asked me "to give him a shoutout if I ever wanted to "hang out". I said said bye & walked away. That was a month ago & he never brought it up even on msn, thus I thought it was just fake. Today I got the biggest surprise, I logged on msn and he said hi right away. He asked me my plans for the winter break & I did, then he told me that he's gonna have a long break & travel. Then he said "we should meet up". I said sure & he asked me when was good for ME, I did, & now we're meeting up next week.He said he'll call me the night before. WHY does he wanna see me now?

You dated for a month for crying out loud....Hello!!!! Then he's too busy, you're setting yourself up for a fall again. He considers you a conquest he figures since you jumped @ the chance to be w/him he will convince you not to wait till marriage. Just make sure you have a tank full of gas so you can leave anytime you want. Then a month to e-mail. Move on w/out.

It can be one of two thing.
1. He wants you back or
2. He misses your friendship and wants to try being friends with you...
In my opinion its number 2. And my advice is to just hang out with him and forget about getting back together for now. Take it slow and be friends with him. In time things will progress into a better friendship or into something more. Just don't force it.

It sounds too far and too few in between when he contacts you, Maybe when it's convienent for him he likes to get in touch with you. I would not give him the time of day. You already know what he's about and obviousely when you tried to make a relationship with him before he was too BUSY so what has changed now from then. Tell him Thanks but NO THANKS.

Well you COULD refuse and let him get stood up by you OR you could just go along with it but be firm by saying "NO" when he asks you to take him back or somethin'. It ain't a break up if it ain't broken honey. If he couldn't see that you're someone special then to hell with that.
