Yes, you can forgiven, if you repent and follow Jesus, He will forgive you. As for homosexuals, yes, they can be forgiven, too. However, bc of the politicization of the issue, many don't think that homosexuality is a sin, but it is, so they don't repent. I think you can be a homosexual Christian, however, you won't be living the life God wants you to and won't be able to have as much of an impact for Him if you're living a sinful lifestyle.

When the Bible says to remove whatever causes you to sin, it's true, we should take that seriously. Does that mean you should start chopping off limbs? No, you should first take steps to avoid the situations which cause you to be tempted and sin, that's the point. Whatever causes you to sin, needs to be removed, if avoiding certain situations prevents sin, then removing your arm isn't necessary. Jesus' point is, that sin is very serious, and hinders our relationship with God, and we need to do whatever we have to to avoid committing it.

Listen to me, sweetheart. Everybody was born a sinner, you didn't have to sin. It was in you at birth. When the bible talks about cutting off your arm etc. That is only to show you how awful hell is. Don't fret, you have a Savior in Jesus. Very easy, to accept Him into your life. Just ask. If you lack faith, Just ask for that too. Gays are no worse off then the rest of us. They need Jesus too. My son is gay and loves Jesus. If God wants my son straight then He will bring about the change. I tried to and couldn't do it. No matter what happens in your life trust Jesus, to bring you through safely. God Bless and you don't have to be doomed.

Jesus was saying that it is better to do those things to yourself than to live a life in sin and die, then go to hell...come to jesus right now and admit to him what you have done and admit you are a sinner and repent, ask him to come into your life and that you believe that he is the son of god and your personal savior, ask him to cleanse you from your unrighteousness and change your evil ways....and let him take over your life...Gay people, straight people, killers, prostitutes, all can be forgiven and made right with god if they come to jesus and repent RIGHT NOW....he didnt mean literally cut off your arms and take out your eyes...take heed, change your life so you wont have to taste the eternal punishment that results in disobeying god...READ YOUR BIBLE SO NO ONE CAN CONFUSE YOU....and let the holy spirit lead you...

"If you eye offends you, pluck it out" is an example of hyperbole. A statement used to emphasise a point. Jesus was trying to communicate the serious nature of sin.
And, yes, since you have sinned; you, like the rest of us are condemned to hell. But the good news is that Jesus made a way for us to be pardoned. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins, then He rose from the dead and defeated death. Anyone who repents and trusts Jesus, will pass from death to life.

Cutting off body parts is not meant to be taken literally.

It is only a metaphor for getting rid of anything in your life that would separate you from God.

No one is condemned to hell for the sins that he committed in his life, only for rejecting the mercy of God at the last breath.

For the sinner dying is despair, God holds out His hand of mercy.

If he is damned, he is damned only for rejecting that mercy.

It would, in that case, be a cold-blooded act.

Such a person is so proud that he prefers the absolute misery of hell to accepting God's mercy.

So that person goes to hell because he wants to.

Everyone gets what they want, ultimately in the end.

Jesus died for our sins period. He took them. Jesus' shed blood is our covering when we will stand be for God our garments will be white as snow. Where's you faith? God made us a new creature in Jesus. We will still fail we're human but the holy spirit will let you know the minute you do and you won't want to hurt God by doing it again...in time you'll grow and mature in the spirit.
