When a guy says he would love you if he was single what does it mean?
i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one

Girl where do i start?! Ok, he does like you, but as well your question might as well be your answer! He is taken and by him saying "if he was single.." says to you that "i like you but i have a girlfriend and i show my jealousy when you talk about your ex and me saying what about us means i want you even tho i have a gf" Now girl if you go playing with this guy while he has a gf you are playing with fire, Also you would hate it if you were in his gf's shoes and that happened. You have a high powered job and earn good money, Now go get a good man that is single and deserves you! (It aint all about physical attraction so you know)

It means he cares about you in the past tense. You shared something special but its over and he wants to make a go of things with his new girl...its not going to go anywhere, or if it does itll be one night stands where he says all the right things but goes straight back to his new love. Its about having their bread buttered on both sides. Dont fall into the trap, its a hard one to get out of. Im still trying!

I feel as if you should leave it as distant friends because he's telling you that he's got somebody and if he wasn't with them then he could be with you so on that note i would still consider him as a friend but in my opinion that would be it. There wouldn't be any going out as friends if he had somebody because that could lead to a whole lot of heartbreak especially if he's gonna stay in his relationship and you want more. Good Luck!

It means NOTHING!!! Don't fall for his line of B.S. He is married so STAY AWAY!!! It sounds like he would cheat on his wife at the drop of a hat & I know it's been said a thousand or more times, but ONCE A CHEAT ALWAYS A CHEAT!!!!
