This type of interracial dating is more common than the opposite when it comes to blacks and whites; the black man with the white woman is more commonly accepted. However, simply reverse the situation, and it's still taboo: I'm a black WOMAN, dating a white MAN, and if only you could see some of the looks we get. I don't see the big difference between the two scenarios, but apparently, to those opposed to interracial relationships, our relationship is much worse than the opposite. Why?? I don't know, and really couldn't care less. Date on my dear, and be proud of her. I know I do, and I couldn't imagine loving anyone more than I love my boyfriend right now.
I know that was an abstract answer to your question, but I just thought I'd share, since we are in a similiar kinds of relationships.

God made different races for a reason. I'm not against any race.....but I do believe that people should be with someone of their own race. I see so many children hurt because of the parents being so different. I know that interracial relationships are more common now....and it just may be that one day...it will be accepted and the children won't suffer because of their parents decisions.

i look at it like who really cares. It is your life and if you are okay and so is your girlfriend then don't worry about anyone else. I personally only date white guys nothing against other men due to race it is just a personal preference. i have friends that date interracially and it doesn't bother me.

I'm not to keen on the idea when the black person is someone whose making a lot of money like a sports figure, etc. You don't see as many white males being in a relationship with a black female as you do the black male being in a relationship with a white female. If you really love this person then thumbs up to you. Go for it.

i am white and i dated a Hawaiian girl for 2 1/2 years. It didn't work. Now i have a white g/f. It really depends on you and who you think is the best. The thing for me is I didn't want mixed children. They are the ones who get dissed on most.

not me i think it is good that a black and white person can get together it is like dateing someone that is different than you and i dont think that u want to date some one that is the same as you that would be boring.

i have no clue how many american are against interracial dating,but that shouldn't stop u from dating her, as long as both of u love each other i think u should keep dating and just ignore those who try to ruin your relationship or those are against interracial dating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
