Go back to the salon. There is no way your hair should have turned yellow.I doubt it just turned yellow, I reckon due to the lights used in salons meant you couldn't see athe yellow until you where in natural light.
Do not put ketchup or any other product in your hair!Go back to the salon and make sure they use a toner! No way would that be acceptable in my salon.
Please go back you have the right to.

Right, my lovely. I am a home dye queen, and previous salon assistant before I got all h'educated and decided to take on the world. A simple quick fix, and don't laugh as this is serious, is to douse your head in tomato ketchup, as if it were conditioning treatment. LEave it a good half hour. It gets rid of brassiness etc. It's the same treatment if ever you go on holiday and get too much chlorine in your hair, and it decides to go a fetching shade of pea. Try doing that for 4/5 days on a run and see what it's like then. If you're really still not happy by that point, you can either take a deep breath and colour it at home (in which case, use L'oreal Preference as they're the easiest and most foolproof I find), or go back to the salon and explain that you really don't like what they've done. If you've paid a fair bit, which I expect you will have, don't go settling for second rate. They ought to rectify it either free, or grossly discounted. And if that's a no no, find a new hairdresser. Go off a recommendation from a friend whose hair is quite simply divine.

I do hope you sort it out, I know how arghhhh having not quite right hair can be ...

All the best ...

well basically whats happened to your hair is that when the hair was bleached it turned yellow and so to combat the warmth of that colour they obviously used a ash toner to counteract this colour however its obviously gone too far to the ash shade, so what some people do when this happens they actually put ketchup on their hair and that will reduce the green tint to the hair after you wash it out, do this a few times and you should see an improvement even though it sounds crazy, but i would do this for a bit because you can't go and dye and your hair now, in fact hair dye packets if you look on the back of them will say that if you hair has been pre lightened which yours has been can't be died, so my suggestion is that in a few weeks after the condition of your hair has improved then apply a new toner not dye and you need to make sure the toner is a medium tint not too warm or too ashy hope this helped but if i was you i would go back to the hairdressers to get further advice you at least deserve that from them!

go back to the salon and tell them what you do not like and ask for some lowlites which are darker streaks put back in and it will leave just enough blond and soften the overall look .a good salon will not charge you for an adjustment and if you try something at home you could get a real mess.colour is not easy to do.don't be afraid to tell your stylist how you feel she or he will be glad that you will build a trust with them and have your business in the future. If not ask the manager or salon owner to resolve this for you

You need to put a toner on it to even out the yellow. It will look fine once you do that. I had the same problem and I just put a toner on it. Go back to the salon and tell them you want a toner to get rid of the yellow they should know that when they see the yellow.

Just go to Sally Beauty Supply or any other beauty supply store & pick up a toner called Born Blonde. You don't mix this with anything, and it looks like purple cough syrup, but it works! Follow the directions on the bottle and that should work fine ;)

I had the exact same problem and did that. It works nicely and doesn't burn.

get a shampoo for blonde hair. it will help take the gold tones out without ruining your hair.
you and get shampoos with a purple tint in them they make your hair go back blonde instead of yellow.
im suprised your hairdresser didnt suggest stuff like that 2 you whilst you were having your hair done.

the most simple and cheap way to tone out the yellow is (like someone said b-4) to get a shampoo for s. they are usually purple, and look jus to be sure, but you definitely need a purple shampoo. contione to use this shampoo, it will not affect anyother color, but it will tone the yellow

get it died brown in like 2-3 weeks... if you do anything right away it'll ruin your hair... it might even be better to wait about 4 wks
