My girlfriend turns the thermostat up so high that staying in my own house becomes unbearable? Is it hormonal or what? Isn't it nice to feel a little cool?

not all women are the same.
all people are different. some people get cold easier that is probably why she keeps it so warm

In general, it has to do with how women's bodies are designed as opposed to men's. If I had the resources with me, I'd explain it further. But I honestly can't remember much details right now.

Dumb she actually wants to convey to you that she wants to be hot. Provide her some heat or she will walk away and find that thermostat somewhere else.

lol, some peoples bodies r just different, like for me my husband is alawys hot so he always has the ac , and i get cold fast so i turn it off every 5 minitues its always tug of war at my house, but i found out that his body is just thicker and his skin type can handle bein cool, and i just have really sensitve type so i get cold fast, so ur just gonna be off and on at ur place u gotta live with it i guess
