My boyfrind disiciplines that dog for pooping in the house. I do not like to see him do it b/c the dog is only 5lbs and he is very rough with her. My son who is 8 just voiced concern of his abuse to the dog while I am gone for the dog pooping last night. My son said he threw the dog all around, he was whining hence the reasons that poop was everywhere , which him and his siter had to clean up. I am sure my boyfriend went beyond spanking the dog with a newspaper. How do I confront him about his behavior w/o mentioning the fact that my child said something about his abuse to the dog. I have spoke with him before about hitting the dog. I recieved the dog who was being abused by his brother/ mother ie, allowed to poop and pee anywhere, spanked, tied up for extended times, hardley feed. I believe they were only wanting her b/c she's a miniture pincher for breeding. What to do with boyfrined and behavior and dog pooping?

First, a dog can not be housetrained that way. You need to google housetraining and learn how to properly train a dog. That is inhumane and he can be arrested for that sort of behavior.
Second young children should NOT be touching fecal matter. There is a possibility of them getting something like E-COLI from it !!! That behavior is endangering your dog and your child!!
Third, a guy who is going to hit a 5 lb. dog and make your child clean it up is going to go off on your kids or you one day. And I am guessing soon. You already feel like you have to cover for your kid, so I know you know this is gonna or already has happened. Your kid is already scared of this guy, and I think you are also. You are definitely scared for your child if he is "tattle-ing" on your bf, what do you think that means? Is he already "punishing" your kid as well. This whole thing has red flags all over it. You already know what you need to do, do you just need for us to spell it out for you??

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN OR YOUR DOG ALONE WITH THIS PERSON EVER AGAIN!!
What to do with the boyfriend? LEAVE HIM!!! NOW!!!
Get yourself out of this situation and out of your life! Nothing, not sex, not money, not free babysitting is worth the price you are gonna pay when this man goes off on you or your kids! If you value your life and children's lives and mental health, GET OUT NOW!!!! There are people and places to help women and their kids get away from people like this, even if you have no resources, they will help you!

You need to get this loser out of your life. Its been shown time and time and for the love of God time again that people who abuse animals will turn to abusing humans too. If you confront him, he could do the same to your kids when you're not home, and or he'll go after you. Leave, and either take the dog, or report him to the humane society. This loser should NOT be allowed around animals. If for some reason you don't want to leave this idiot, then take the dog to your local shelter, tell them he was being abused by the guy, and then tell the guy the dog ran away or was hit by a car or something.

The DOG!!!! The dog will love you no matter what, thick and thin. The dog was there first! Your boyfriend just has to learn to deal with the fact that you come fully equipped with a dog. Nobody is gonna respect a person who chooses to get rid of man's best friend.....I feel sorry for your dog just because you considered it!!

I dont think you should need to tell your boyfriend anything but "sorry this isn't working". If you continue to date and become serious with this control freak, that is beating up on a little innocent dog. You and your son could be the next to get abused.

I'm sorry about this...
My best advice is to leave Him, based on your story, I asid that it's a behaviour He get from His family/parents (since His brother and sister are too..), and if He abuse pets, what can guarenty that He'll not abuse your child and You someday...?
I don't think talking with Him will settle the matter, since He got this behaviour doctrinized since He's kid - by His parents, unless miracle happen He won't change, believe Me...
I know that this might be a very big decision, please take your time, and rethink, for your aske and your child.... and the Pet ofcourse...

Your boyfriend is abusing that poor dog. By your description he sounds like he has serious anger/abuse issues.
Here is what I would do:
Get the dog to a vet and report the abuse. The vet will contact the proper authorities and they will deal with him.
Take your son and leave this abusive man before he takes his anger out on you two and don't let him know where you are.
Stop dating little boys who beat things smaller than they are.

Haven't you ever heard that you can judge a man's charactor by the way he treats his mother and animals? If he is starting out abusive towards animals it has a large potential to move to humans.

well what you should do is report him studys show that people who abuse animals have a retarded gene. most likely the ancestors did it also somewhere down the line!!!!!!!!!!!
