You got a thumbs down for this question--curious. I balanced it out with one up. I think it's a combination of the users & Yahoo. I just got a violation because I used a question mark in my answer. Last night, after typing (thoughtful answers where I felt I could help), I kept getting zapped with "You cannot answer this question, you have reached your daily quota." I'd answered at the most, eight, & @ level 3, I can answer 60! People ARE abusing this site & getting away with it, but when someone who simply doesn't like you, reports abuse, you get a violation even when it doesn't break the guidelines. So far, I've gotten some good feelings about misc. information I have that helped someone, & I try to CENSOR everything--but that doesn't stop the meanies. Isn't this the human condition? Intelligent, sincere people have--so far--outweighed the ones who just want to "vent." Those with an IQ that isn't even room temperature. I can hardly wait for all the thumbs down! & I will LAUGH.
Edit: DUH! I didn't know about "MAN" so I just assumed this referred to, like, mankind? People? & that's how I answered. I've since seen him on EVERY question with a one liner & pushing his link. I checked him out, & what I saw was like almost 16,000 points in a week? I pulled up some of his answers & ALL had that link. IT'S UNDER SPAM & ADVERTISEMENT in the guidelines. So let's get it together instead of grousing,& flood the joint with abuse! He'll love the attention, but how does it go--"Who's sorry now..." This is truly a SCAM & I resent the way he's playing it. So click that flag & get the nerd OUT OF HERE!

"If it is not difficult, then it is probably not worth doing." - Unknown author
For 63 years I have seen people trying to find an easy way to do things. It is almost a goal of our society. But in the long run we must overcome obstacles in order to get things done.
On this chat group we have the obstacles of wading through moronic distractions. But, occasionally we find a good question that makes us think and even re-think about our world and of course ourselves.

YA is putting in place a program, where reports by select yammers are sent to the top of the list. they receive several reports of abuse every day and it just takes time to get to them right away..

No - just ignore it and go on to the next answer.
Yahoo will yank the account soon enough and fix the bug that "man" is exploiting.

Yes, and ruining that thing of when you get an answer to your question and thinking you're going to read something funny, cool, sad or interesting, then it's that generated spamometer.

"Man" is probably just a spam bot anyway. No point getting annoyed when it's not a person. Just report it for spamming.
