My mother and step-dad get drunk, mostly on weekends, and keep my little sister and brother awake or wake them up with their screaming at each other in the middle of the night, early morning hours. I am now 23 and no longer live there, but when I was younger and I slept there I had the same problem. My sister and brother are 10 and 11 years old. What should I do?

You should speak with your mom, and tell her of your concerns and how it affected you. And see if you can suggest to her that they seek some type of family counseling. This may be so normal of a behavior to them that they really do not realize how badly it is affecting the children. God bless****

The kids should call 911 when this happens and have the police talk to the parents.
Usually it's the other way around, parents calling the cops when the kids get out of hand, but it can work this way too.
Or take the kids to an Alateen meeting. I know they are young for it, but maybe it would help.

They have financial which leads to emotional problems;hence the booze.

May be its not good the way your mom and step dad behaves. They should understand the repercussions on young children. The good way is to report to police authorities or If you can take care of them its even better they will remember you through out their life.

Report them. You are an adult and your brother and sister are not. They need you to help them. Someone has to. No child should have to live like that. Make them wake up and be responsible parents.
