Let's face it - if your girl is half decent and on a dancefloor, sooner or later she's gonna get fondled by some drooling horny drunk guy.
How do you handle this kind of situation? Is it best to approach him and say something like 'Hi! I'm this girl's boyfriend?' (in a dominant and slightly sarcastic way)
Or is it better to let them get on with it and try your best not to get jealous, in the hope that she sees you trust her and will eventually push the guy away.
What would you do?

The best thing to do is to do nothing. If she cares for you or loves you she will not let anyone else dance with her but you. If she considers you just a friend, she will probably not mind dancing with some other guy if you both are at a club or night spot. Getting jealous and causing a scene will only embarrass you and her and she may get more mad at you than the other guy. Don't ever give in to the Green Monster.

If you dance with her other guys won't. You can't chase every guy off but if someone is being inappropriate then you should by all means step in. You don't want to make her mad though if she is just having a good time-you could come across as over-protective
Just have some sort of signal so that she can get your attention if she is uncomfortable and wants you to come to her rescue. Like she can point at you or wink at you and that's your sign to cut in. Then you are her knight but not pushy.
Otherwise if she is having fun then she's having fun...as long as she doesn't give out her # or start kissing anyone she's being faithful to you. Afterall, you get to go home with her.
But don't let her use you either...some girls just want a guy to take them out, buy their drinks, and keep the creeps off them while they flirt with other cute guys. I'm assuming that's not your girl...but make sure you talk to her about what makes you mad when you see it. Like she can dance with anyone as long as they don't touch her in certain places....just communicate and she should respect your concerns too. But also keep in mind, she can't control what a guy does on the dance floor and she's not gonna just slap a guy who has been polite but makes one move too far...I mean, any guy will test the waters.
My overall suggestion is dance with her more.

Well I don't have a problem with lettin my woman dance with other guys as long as she doesn't get fondled but I really dont see that happening cause she'd probably kick his butt anyway.
But a little bit isn't a problem because remember this YOUR the one takin the woman home. As long as you know she is yours and that your hers. I wouldn't worry about it.
But since your worried, I'd suggest talking to her about this first see if she is on the same page as you and let her know it annoys you. Then she knows and if a guy does it to her she will tell him no or you can step in and tell him the gal said no which means no and you'll look like a knight in shineing amour for "saving the day". Probably not but worth a try eh

Been there many times in my younger days, and tried all sorts of approaches!! My trouble was i couldn't dance and i had good looking girlfriends (recipe for disaster) you leave em to dance with other blokes you got that macho stance to worry about!! You step in a fight breaks out you get ejected and wait outside the club all night wondering whats going down inside!!(thats happened a few times) I found best approach leave em to it, be well away at the bar with mates walk her home later! Thank god them days are over!! thanks for reminding me(lol) now!!

In my time the man would ask your escort permission to ask the lady for a dance barring that courtesy a lady always asks her escort if he minds

Hopefully, your girl will be the one that says something if some drunken SOB is feelin' her up on the dance floor. Then you get 2 b the Macho Man and step in and say (or do) something. Otherwise, let 'em dance and have fun. u guys get jealous over anything....

girls like to have fun, and love when a guy notices her on the dance floor and approaches her. Not going to lie. But if she is with someone, she should push him away, and tell him. I wouldn't get involved. My rule is that you can look, but can't touch. If you see her tell the guy "no thanks" and he keeps pressing her about it, or wont leave her alone, then just go up and start dancing with your girlfriend. When this other guy sees her reaction to you, he'll leave.

If I needed my mans help I would give him a look that let him know I needed him.But if some drunk guy put his hands on me I'd kick his as*.There is only one guy that's allowed to touch me and that's my guy.But If my man beat me to the punch(no pun intended) and Came and said something he'd so get laid that night, cause he knows that I like it when hes possessive of me.

My husband allows me to take care of it myself. He watches me have a good time and when the guy gets to "handy" I remove myself from the dance floor for that dance. I will go to hubby and make it VERY clear we are together. That usually solves the problem with out being confrontational.

Don't take your girlfriend to clubs and it wont be a problem. If you insist on going with her to keep an eye on her then you are the problem, if she is doing it to piss you off then she is the problem. Grow some balls and tell her how much it pisses you off, if it continues to happen, tell her to kick rocks so you can get a new girl!
