As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

What's a "mocker?"
Are you talking about somebody who makes fun of certain beliefs? Sarcasm has been a valid and vibrant form of criticism for thousands of years...don't let your own thin skin get in the way of appreciating some really good sarcasm! Enjoy the wit, instead :)

Actually, satire, a form of mocking, is an extremely effective path to social commentary. While I agree that some of this mocking is childish, so are some of the genuine assertions made.

The reason they do is if God is real then they have to make changes. The word said that "they were given over to lies because of their lust". We all lust after different sins-that's our fallen nature. But we must realize that if we are to sin-there are consequences. This is what atheist and agnostics fear- that if God is real-they will either have to accept Him of reap what they sowed...This is a great fear-because both issue a change to them-whether in this life or the next. So this isn't hater per se- it's out of fear. I just hope that they find the truth before it is too late.

Some questions invite satire and "mockery". When folks make outlandish, unsupported statements or suppositions or fake a question to attack others, opine or prosletyze, it's open season. Mockery and satire are time-honored means of expression to hoist one on one's own petard.

It can be assumed that people come to Yahoo Answers to mock because they do not feel comfortable enough to post actual intellectual answers. Heaven forbid that they entertain their little brains somewhere else. They feel the need to poke fun at the questions of others because they simply don't know the answer.

Thank you for asking this question! I've been meaning to know if there was any purpose of their mockery towards catholicism.
I care about God and I care about defending him. Defending him means defending our faith and people ask why we have to do it to an invisible man. Just to tell them God is of three and he IS a man!
They ask why we offend them (non-christians) but they just keep posting stuff that offends us! It makes me disappointed in them.
I respect other people's decision but pointing it to us for no reason makes no sense. Non-believers tend to say we waste our time when we are just doing what we believe in. Why are they so disrespectful to us when we are as respectful to their choice of faith?
