My kid just took a hot cup of coffee and threw it in my face. Shes 2 and a half years old and claimed that I was a male chuvanist. SHould I punish her? If so, how?

She's only two and she knows the word "chauvinist"? You should be getting her IQ tested, not spanking her.
Have you ever considered that maybe you are a male chauvinist?

putting a kid in their room wont help since its most likely that they have their toys and other things they like in there when i was younger instead of going to my room i had to sit on the bottom step or on the pot in the bathroom either that or a beating

try putting your daughter in a room for two and a half minutes. tell her why she is in there and take her out afterwards and then give here a cuddle for doing her punishment.it may not seem long for you but it is a long time for her and this method works for me with both my boys.

although there are alot of tough laws about child abuse, these days an ole fashioned "spanking"will do a world of good! Kids need toknow that causing "pain only brings "pain".
