Hot Cheddar Bean Dip
Ingredients

1/2 c Miracle Whip
16 oz Pinto Beans, Drain, Mashed
1 c Shredded Cheddar Cheese
4 oz Diced Green Chilies
1/4 ts Tabasco Sauce
Instructions
Combine all ingredients until well blended. Spoon into a small ovenproof dish. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 2-1/2 cups.
Garlicky Garbanzo Bean Dip
Ingredients
(6 servings)
3 c Garbanzo Beans; Cooked
1/2 c Tahini; Sesame Paste
1 ts Cumin; Ground
1/4 c Water
1/3 c Lemon Juice
GARNISHES:
1 x Lemon Slices
1 x Paprika
1 tb Salt
1 x Parsley; Chopped
1 1/2 tb Garlic; Chopped
2 tb Olive Oil
Instructions
Puree the beans with the water in a food processor or blender to the consistency of a smooth, mashed-potatolike paste. (The beans can also be mashed with the water by hand) Add the tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt and cumin. Continue mixing until light and fluffy. Put into a serving bowl and swirl in the olive oil. Sprinkle on paprika and garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley. Serve at room temperature. Makes about 4 1/4 cups of dip. SUGGESTED DIPPERS: Pita Bread Triangles, Celery, Carrots, Fennel, Cheddar Cheese
Bean and Garlic Dip

2 c Pinto beans; *
1 ea Clove garlic; finely chopped
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 c Mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 1/2 ts Red chiles; ground
1 x Pepper; dash of

* Pinto beans can be home cooked or canned. --------------- Mix all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes 2 cups of dip.
Bean Dip a la Dr. Pepper
Ingredients
(2 servings)
1 ea Can Red Kidney Beans, drain
3 tb Tomato Paste
2 tb Oil
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Black Pepper
1 ea Clove Garlic, minced
1/2 c Dr. Pepper
4 oz Can Green Chilies, drained
1 ts Worcestershire Sauce
1 c Sharp Cheddar, shredded
1 x Crisp Chopped Bacon
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except the last 2 in saucepan; heat to boiling. Pour into blender or electric mixer; add cheese. Blend on high speed until well mixed. Pour into warmer dish; cover with bacon. Serve with chips, crackers.
Chunky Kidney Bean Dip
Ingredients
(2 servings)
1 1/2 c Kidney Beans; Cooked
1 ts Lemon Juice
1 tb Cumin; Ground
1/4 c Sour Cream
1 ts Hot Sauce
1 tb Coriander; Ground
Instructions
Mash the beans by hand, using a fork or the back of a wooden spoon. Blend in the sour cream, mixing until smooth. Add all the other ingredients and blend well. Cover and chill. Makes about 1 3/4 cups of dip. SUGGESTED DIPPERS: Polish Sausage, Celery, Corn Crackers

Mexican Bean Dip:
1 (8-ounce) block 1/3-less-fat cream cheese
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeño peppers, divided
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (15-ounce) can vegetarian chili with beans
1 (4.5-ounce) can chopped green chiles, undrained
Preheat oven to 350°.
Spread the cream cheese evenly over bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Combine 1/2 cup Monterey Jack, onion, chili, and green chiles in a small bowl. Spread chili mixture over the cream cheese. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Monterey Jack. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
Yield: 4 cups (serving size: 2 tablespoons)

Refried beans? I always layer it up like so:
beans
sour cream
guacamole (1 mashed avacado and 1 c cottage cheese & juice of 1/2 lime or lemon)
diced fresh onions & cilantro mixed together
Grated cheese
Fresh chipped tomatoes on top

I make a yummy bean dip. First ,layer refried beans, then sour cream, guacamole, then lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, shredded cheese, and black olives, Eat with tortilla chips.
