I used submissive training on my calico when she did that. I flipped her on her back and Loudly told her NO. While she was flipped I stared her down until she looked away. She hated it because she had to submit to what I wanted. You have to do it the same way EVERY time she does something you dont want her to do so she knows between right and wrong behavior. Though my male (who is stirctly indoors) would not stop scratching and bunny kicking with his back feet so we had him declawed on all 4 feet. I know it might sound mean but he wouldnt scratch furniture or anything like that (he would still have his claws if he had) he ONLY attacked people. He is a lot better now, though he does bite a little harder but he doesnt bite unless he is playing. Good luck.

Well to tell you the truth it can't really be stopped. Kittens go through a biting phase. I have a kitten that did the same thing. Like I said its just a phase... your kitten will soon grow out of it.

Every time your kitten gets to rough, pet it in the bathroom with the lights out for 15. The kitten will calm down.

My cat did this too, so I read up on it a bit. It's an instinctual thing for them, so it's hard to stop. I can't remember where I read this, but this is how I got her to stop: As soon as she started biting (or scratching) me or my husband, we'd walk away and ignore her. It took awhile, but she's stopped. We also trim her nails regularly.

Try using a squirt bottle full of water. The Vet used to have a Biter, and a squirt bottle labeled specifically for that purpose!

Thump it! Right on the nose, not painfully hard and say NO!

Kick it in the teeth.
