Seems like it would have taken quite a few generations to write the whole story down - the story would probably be mutated into an unrecognizable myth in that amount of time. Hey wait, maybe you're right.

Adam was not an ape. There is no place in the Bible that talks about him being an ape. Adam was a man.

There is a verse in Quran about Jews who does not keep sabbath,
....''for you are well aware of those from among you who profaned the Sabbath, whereupon We said_ unto them, "Be as apes despicable!" ?(2-65)
I mean why not monkey.donkey or something else but ape,is it evolution backwards?Don't know,have not read Quran properly may be I'm misunderstanding
