My dentist gave me a Sonicare Elite toothbrush to try out for a couple of weeks. It feels great. What is the difference between the Sonicare 7300, 9500 and 9800? The differences seem pretty small (the 9800 is only available from professional dentists). What are the differences?

Mainly just the bells and whistles. Their basic operation (the way they work) are pretty much the same. I like the two minute timer on mine. Some of the cheaper ones don't have that feature. So that is what I would look for buying a new one. I could care less about LED displays etc.

I USE A SONICARE ELITE. THIS IS A FABULOUS TOOTHBRUSH AND IS WELL WORTH THE $ IT COSTS. THERE IS NOT MUCH APPRECIABLE DIFFERENCE WHERE IT REALLY MATTERS FROM MODEL TO MODEL. THE KEY TO SUCCESS IS USING IT DAILY.
