I am a resident of chennai, India. I have to report the loss of my driving license to police station and hence file a complaint. Can I approach my resident area's police station or should I approach only a specific police station; If the answer is the latter please can anyone tell me which police station should I approach?

Forget it.. Look at the place you last had it. Any police station would do. Go to your RTO office or your Driving school .. they should be able to give you a license in 15 days time or maybe 25 days max

closet one to your house and take the report to the mv dept,,

you would report it to your states motor vehicle department
