My husband ALWAYS swallows his gum. It's not unusual for him to swallow 10 - 15 pieces a week. Do you think this is safe? He says he "forgets" he is chewing it and realizes a few moments later that he swallowed it.

ya he fine or they would have a thing saying on it dont swallow if it was not

there isn't any longer some thing undesirable about it. Why do you imagine they enable us positioned it in our mouths? :) yet swallowing gum is thoroughly healthy, do merely not do all of it the time reason it takes somewhat longer to digest than different meals.

Yah, its fine...but 10-15 pieces a week is alot. Our bodies don't digest gum...it goes right through us.

It is digested and exits like any other food.

I don't think it's unsafe, however, it comes out very messy, gooey, sticky, yucky.
