Okay my finance wants another baby but i already have 3. Im 23 and i am a medical labaratory technician. I dont want to right now but he wants one and i feel it will be too much on me at the moment. What should i tell him to not hurt his feelings that im not ready right now???

Having a baby is a very big decision that involves (or should) both parents agreeing on raising a child. If you feel that you cannot handle another child, be sincere about it and state your case with valid points. Us men don't have tunnel vision and we do listen to what women have to say. You will not hurt his feeling if you express to him as to why you feel you are not ready and he should respect that because after all, you will be carrying the baby in your womb for 9 months, not him, so it will be a lot harder on you.

I suggest that you discuss this issue with the fiance. Examine all the issues: the care of the child, the physical changes of pregnancy, the expense of another child and the responsibility of raising children. Perhaps both of you would benefit from taking to a third party such as a councilor or parent.

Just be honest with him & tell him that in the future you would love to have a baby with him but that right now you just can't handle another one. 3 is a lot at 23 to handle. If he can't understand that than maybe you should reconsider your relationship.

Turn the table on him, ask him if he was in your place, will accept to have one more baby. Buy some time by telling him that for sure you want a baby with him but you want to wait after the wedding and that you are more stable. Plus you young ,,,you have time.

Simple, tell him just what you said here. Then tell him if HE wants another baby to get pregnant and give birth himself. You have the right to not have your body used as an incubator whether he likes it or not.
