I bought a shock coller for my dog. Be vigiliant, and when you see him lick/chew/eat the carpet, tell him no and hit the alarm button on the remote. If he continues, repeat, but next time, hit the shock button. The remotes have different settings for the weight and tolerance level of your dog. My dog does not touch my carpet any more.

I hope he digest It and passes It through,I know that a rabbit will die from eating carpet, but a dog,or at least what I have seen will just passit through.

Why he ate the carpet Is a Question???did somebody spill something on It that he likes to munch on Is what I would ask myself,I know that they eat grass to help them digest certain things so bring the dog outside

Requires a foreign body surgery at the vet, carpet strands bunch up and cause a blockage in the upper GI or in the stomach. Looks like 2000.00 or more for the surgery. If money is tight apply for care credit a company that pays for vet care!

give him a lot of water so that all of it can come out, and can be digested easier. Also, you should try bringing your pet to a trainer or even getting one online that can help you with these problems.
