I've found it to be true. The ones who really want to know God, find Him. Those who want to argue about Him spend their whole life doing so, and when they die, they STILL meet Him; only in an unpleasant way!

I like this verse. It means you cannot half heartedly seek God or only seek Him sometimes. You have to have a genuine want to know God and when you have that then you will find Him. You can't just run to Him when things aren't going your way. You have to follow Him all the time and with all your heart.

Sorry, but that's lame. Why should I have to 'seek' you? You should be so clearly visible in front of my face that I have no question but to recognize you. Why make a game out of it?
God -- "Gee, let's make a game out of believing in me or not. I won't show myself, ever. I will not perform ANY miracles anymore. My existance will be faith alone, based on a book over 2000 years old that has been edited by humans during those 2000 years. If no one believes in me, because there is no evidence of me, I'll punish them FOREVER in the most horribly disturbing place one could imagine. This game sounds like fun!"
Give me a break . . .

Yes it is. Now what I think of the pasage is that I would personally make a minor change and replace "Seek in with all you heart" with " Seek me in your heart". God dwells in our heart and all we need to do is to look within.

Its the same as seek and you will find and knock and it shall be open. Not the I profess with my lips faith that spiritually dead Christians give. Basically its saying to you that if its your desire to find the truth, you must become submerged in it and live your life as a testimony to the truth.
Peace

It means that if we seek God, try to find out about Him, what he requires of us, what kind of God he is, He will reveal himself to us. The primary way he does so is through His Word the Bible.

It is very much like the saying`Seek and you shall find,`knock and the door shall be opened to you`
Anyone who desires God badly enough, God will come to them.

I think it's true. If you seek ANYTHING with all your heart, you will find it. Why should God be excluded from this?

To a Christian it means to have achieved a purest and strongest faith.
To an atheist it sounds like an attempt at brainwashing.
