how can i lose weight fast? and keep it off? i want to do something that actually works other than something thats gonna take 6 months to work.

There is no fast, healthy, real way to lose weight fast. Your best bet is to find an excercise program that works for you, and eat healthy, and I know you've probably heard that before but it works, and it has great health benefits along with losing weight. Plus, if you're serious about it, you'll lose weight faster than you think it would take with excercising and eating healthy instead of diet pills and programs that don't work, or cause even more health problems. There are many websites and programs that give guidance and help with eating and excercising properly.

This all depends on how much weight you need to lose, and your definition of fast.
There's a new diet plan out there called The Logic Diet. It has 4 weight-loss Stages, and whichever one you need to start on, you'll lose up to 4 pounds per week.

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, its not going to be fast. It's like the rule of the trifecta. The three components being "works", "fast", and "Keep it off". If its fast and it works, then the weight is not going to stay off. If it works and it stays off, its not going to be fast. You need to think about how much you want it because if you really want it to stay off for good, it will not happen quickly and you will just have to work at it for a while. Good luck to you.
