In my experience the best months have been april-june or sept-oct.
Summer is very hot and winter brings the rainy season.
Spring and fall are very good months to go.

April until June or July are good months.
Not bad weather- not too hot and perfect for the beach (in Israel you can go to the beach from March to November since it's so hot)
Pleasent weather in these days.
Since Israel is filled with many different weather conditions you should probably go by this chart:
Negev - March until June
Galil / Golan - summer vacation
Emek Yizrael - April until June
Tel Aviv / Jerusalem area - all year
Haifa - April until June

Sure it's safe - at least as safe as anywhere else in the world. And it's worth it to stay here even a day. Of course there's now missils at Sderot but then it was like that for the past 7 years... Don't worry brother it's no more dangerous than NY y'know.

In terms of temperature and climate, I would say that mid-May to late June would be best since by that time the weather would be nice and warm but not reach the August extremes yet.
If you are Jewish, I may also suggest visiting there during the holiday of Passover or Sukot.

If you're in the Jerusalem area, end of March-May has great weather, and some of the coolest stuff happens then...Purim, Passover, Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Rememberance Day), Yom HaZikaron (Rememberance Day), Yom Ha'atzma'ut (Independence Day). I was only there from February-beginning of June so that's my only frame of reference. Any time you decide to go you'll have an amazing time.

I would strongly advise against coming in April (hot desert winds and holidays) nor in September (same reasons) on the other hand March or November are perfect.

The best time is in the Spring- its really beautiful, green and lush then (in Galilee at least) April/May. The fall is okay but I prefer the spring. January is awful in Jerusalem, rainy and cold.

Yes i have visited Israel.It is a wonderful place . The best time to visit it is end of May. Around the 22 or 23.

Nevermonth! You will get stuck there due to the continuous WAR! It's like a game for them but Nasrallah always gets them and pushes them back.
