Everywhere in the northern hemisphere, the summer months are June July and August. The winter months are December January, February. The spring months are March, April May and the autumn months are September, October November. In the southern hemisphere, the months are reversed, so Winter is June, July and August. Limerick (and the rest of Ireland, as well) is in the Northern hemisphere, so their summer months are June, July and August.

In whats called the summer the days are long and cool.

In whats called winter the nights are long and colder.

In between these time there is a lot of rain and cold.

Irelands seasons are difficult to define except by the length of daylight in each day.

Summer June July August
Winter November December February
But It will rain at any time so it does not make much difference.
