stay out of each others business but make sure they know your around if they need you. make sure they now you love them and make the effort to call them/visit/invite them over. If none of them reciprocate at least you know you have done right by them and you have nothing to feel guilty about.

Respect your elders and love your younger ones. Give more time to your relatives and always try to be on giving end and never complain of their behaviour and always have simple and cute smile on your face. Whenever you visit them aleays take something for them no matter how small it is. May be a chocolate only. And in a very few weeks you will find that people wish you to be around them. Rest good habits you will learn on your own. Rather you would already be having those good habits but as you had not practised you dont know that you have them.

Very difficult at times...don't be too opinionated..too bossy...too stroppy...put your family head on and treat everyone as equal with elders getting a bit more respect. Listen....that's probably the answer...be interested in what they are saying and kind of take it on board...you might bet to really really like each other...I hope so...Merry Christmas

Yah I hear yah.....I don't have a great relationship with my family...we are very distant....for no good reason. It makes me sad, however I have learnt that finding other things in life should be important to my well being.
You can always reach out to your family...with phone calls email or even send them a card...now if they respond you will develop that bond you are looking for.
Good Luck to you......enjoy your life.....

Make up your mind that that is what you want.
Then work at it.
We are responsible beings, and can determine to respond rather than react, It may not be easy but it has to be worth it, doesn't it?
You are half awy there by wanting it. All the best.

Try not to get in each othres business. If someone hurts your feelings, try to let it go. Stay away from "hot topics" that you know will cuase a fight. Remember the good times.
