nobody was hurt,it was a verbal confration,3 others got the same charge but all were dropped to misdermeners,and happened 10 years ago,in Ohio

It depends, here in Montana if you complete your sentence of a non- violent felony, you can then poses a firearm, but even in Mt. Intimidation is considered a violent felony

Felons are not allowed to possess firearms, and I'm pretty sure there are no exceptions. However several states have been lax in enforcing this, and according to this article http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2006/01/29/felons_parolees_getting_hunting_licenses/
felons have been getting hunting licenses in a few states.

If your state is like Michigan, then no, a felon can not own a firearm.

no, you cant in most places. i think this law only forces felons to by an illegle gun and then the government wont even know they have it. at least if it was legal for felons to own firarms the government would know
