Incentives!? I'm sorry for you. Try a therapist first. And I'll pray for you.

Aside from being the most retarded question, I take this with a grain of salt...if you accept you are ignorant (which you are) then you are willing to accept new concepts and ideas and hopefully you learn something out of it. First suggestion would be to get a few books on various religions. The three major religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam all believe in one God. The prophets (Islam: Jesus is a prophet, Moses is a prophet), including the acknowledgment that there were books before the Quran: Bible, Torah and Ingeal (spelling not sure). That should give you a better idea. And learn to ask questions about religion with a little bit of respect if you expect to get a serious answer.

Don't look for a religion- look to Jesus. He is the one that loves you, and gave Himself up for you, so you can in Heaven when you die. Religions can be just a set of laws, Christianity is a relationship. The incentive? if you want to call it that, is that you will know the ONE true living God. Yes, you will get eternal salvation, but much, much more than that- you will know God. Jesus is the way,the truth and the life.

Why do you think you have to find a religion before you die.. The thing is that you can be religious but it doesn't mean you have to have a religion. You can pick tid bits different beliefs from different religions that fits you and follow those beliefs. Case and point follow your values and morals. Have a stated religion is not the key -The key here is your values and morals, being firm and following your morals and values. For example i'm religous, But i don't have a "sanctioned" relgion because of the fact that all my values and morals are from tid bits of other religions-And with even with taking tid-bits of all sorts of religions here and there; It still makes a big picture.. :)

hahaha Im Muslim and I had to laugh when you said you like pork skins. When I was a kid, my dad and I walked down the aisles of the store and when I saw the pork rinds I'd point at them and shrivel my nose, saying "ewwww." My dad would just laugh cuz he was a convert to Islam and used to eat them as a kid himself.

Most religions are made up and "corrected" by powerfull leaders, kings and corrupt religious leaders.
So you might as well make your own up, as long as you do positive things you should be ok.
If your lucky you might get loads of followers who you can get rich off, shag and maybe even become very powerfull so you can control politicians and influence the world.
Its working for the Catholics, I´d avoid perverted activities though (kids) that can´t be good for your Karma.

Dont look for incentives, but look for the truth; and let me assure you that Chritianity is the truth about God. But lean not on your own understanding, if you come across something in the Bible you dont understand ask a man or woman of God that's been saved longer than you.

There are books and such that give a quick idea. A very nonbiast one is called "How to be a good neighbor" it gives an idea of what is expected and what they believe. Either way gotta go there and try them out to descide. nothing else can tell you, religion is a persoal desition.

Wow... what a rediculous question.
Just incase you're kind of serious... you don't need a concrete "religion". Love God and all life, and try to be a good person. That will make you happy in this life and the next.
