From a guy's perspective. He will first be attracted to looks. But if the personality isn't there, then the relationship will end up very one dimensional (she's good for making-out).
If there is to be anything more to the relationship then there needs to be personality as well. So, if there's looks and personality, then there will be a healthy loving relationship.
If there's personality only... and the looks aren't there, well, the guy will never be attracted to her in the first place. There's got to be some good looks. She doesn't have to be drop-dead gorgeous, just average good looks.

let me say this please
with you I would not have to give up anything, you have both and much more
but just think, if you go for looks, and as you all know we all will get old sooner or later, some look older sooner, so if all you went for is looks and tens years into a marriage and the looks are gone then what do you have....
but if you go for personality with fair looks, the looks will go too, but at least you have someone you can relate to and talk to and be nice to you...go for personality...
but anyone looking for you will not have to choose

Honestly, PERSONALITY!! Looks are not everything. Good looks are fine, but if a great personality is part of the package, it's much better. Look, who do you want to hang out with? A good-looking person with a crappy personality is like totally boring!

A combination of the two is really nice, but if I had to choose between the two I would take personality anyday. Looks generally fade with age, but a personality can blossom with age.

Looks are the first thing that attracts us in the first place. But that doesn't mean you should only go out with good looking guys or girls. Alot of the time it's who they are and what kind of personality they have.

personality, looks are over rated. I have dated both and will take personality over looks any day.
