seriously... were getting weaker and other countries are thinking about declaring war on us. I also think the European Union is tired of backing us up. What do you all think about all this?

This is not actually answering your question, 'The guy', for which I apologise.
But I'd like to point out to the Americans on this site that the UK is part of the EU, hence every time disparaging remarks about Europe appear they are, effectively, also deriding the UK. You might not know this [and having lived in New York for a while, including 9/11, I would understand why you don't, since the world only consists of the USA according to your self obsessed media], but the UK supplied around 47,000 personnel during the 2003 invasion on Iraq. Considering the size of our country, that was not a bad contribution (the USA number was around 137,000 - and would have been even fewer had Rumsfelt had his way). And please note that Russia is not a part of the EU - and not likely to be either - so trying to make a point by mentioning Putin was fatuous.

Going back into Iraq the second time was probably ill-timed but necessary. I suspect we'd have been there by 2005 at any rate. Disbanding the Iraqi army and starting over from scratch with too few resources going into the reconstituted force was an obvious mistake, at least in hindsight, and underfunding the less glamorous parts of the military has always been scandalous.

The invasion of Iraq was good but the planning for later was terrible. We are paying for bad decisions not by politicians but also the Generals. History has provided examples of follow up handling of defeated countries and it was not necessary for us to disassemble the entire military of Iraq as well as the civilian organization. Look at how Europe and Japan were put back on their feet after WWII. Iraq could have been very different with better planning. The rest of the world will always be jealous of our prominence and higher life style. Europe is worthless because of the lack of guts to stand up to evil. China, Russia and France prevent any positive results in the UN and our throwing money away there is a big waste.

No, and I think America is tired of Europe backing out on us. Did you know if we went and bombed countries and killed a bunch of people, we could rule the world in a communism way in about three days. We wouldnt even have to send troops, America is too nice though.

Oh ya, those of you who think Iraq has us right where they want us, they actually have no war plan. They just go and blow themselves up. Thats what you get for watching CNN.

europe has been defended by america and not the other way around..... we owe them nothing, so why worry about NOTHING ?
americans should keep their own noses clean and help the ones who want our help and let the others drown in their own rotten greed.
we americans will help those who fight along beside us and not against us.
the world is busy feeding it's self and does not care about what the USA is doing, only the media tries to make it's self like the ALL MIGHTY GOD FROM OZ... behind the curtain is a whoosie !!!
I'll put my faith in AMERICAN ingenuity and national pride that is well founded due to the fact that no other country of people are as generous or loving as us....
HEY we are a-okay !!! so stop putting americans/yourself down

I knew it was a mistake three years ago. Bush decided early on he was going to do regardless of the other countries and now he's made a total mess.

Not a mistake - a HUGE LIE. George W. went there under false pretenses - and it's going to bite him/you all in the A S S. Remember - what goes around, comes around. I'm scared to be the neighbour of the U.S - they're going to bring trouble around!
